Truck body must be complete with hood, doors, and bed. The bed must have the floor or top cover in place.

Must have front bumper or weight box, or weight bracket. Weights and brackets must be securely fastened.

Weight box or weight bracket allowed with a maximum 12" extension from grill, weights in bed must be secured so they won’t slide around or fall out. No weight allowed in cab.

Any size D.O.T. approved tire allowed, no cut or grooved tires, no bar tread, or tractor type tires allowed

Pump gas or race fuel allowed, No Alcohol or Nitro allowed. All Nitrous equipment must be removed .

Open headers allowed, exhaust must discharge under truck to rear, no side or down discharge of exhaust toward ground.

Any intake manifold and carburetor combination allowed, engine must be naturally aspirated. No supercharger or turbo allowed.

Kill switch or breakaway cut-off switch required within 24" of hitch. All kill switches will be tested on the scale at weight in for operation. Truck must have engine fan shroud. Standard transmission must have blow-proof bell housing or S.F.I. blanket, all automatic transmissions must have S.F.I. blanket. Drive shaft loops for front and rear drive shafts and U-joint shields are required. All U-joints must be shielded 360 degrees with 3/8 aluminum or 5/16 steel. All shields must be 6" long minimum and centered over U-joints. Inside of shield must not more than 2" larger than U-joint Drive shaft must have two loops made of 3/8 aluminum or 5/16 steel 2" wide and fastened by 3/8 grade 5 bolts. Some safety equipment may be waved by tech official for stock engines.

All drive line components must be for 1 ton and under truck, no drop boxes or reversers.

Maximum hitch height allowed can be 26" from top of hitch to level ground. Hitch must be receiver type towing hitch or special constructed pulling hitch, no bumper hitches allowed. Hitch must be rigid in all directions with a minimum of 36" from rear axle center to point of hook. Hitch must have a 3.5” opening and must be horizontal to the ground because the hook is bigger this year.

Suspension modifications are allowed. Traction /Ladder bars allowed Any blocked or solid suspension must be safely fabricated and securely fastened to frame as determined by the tech inspector.

Fire extinguisher must be in reach of driver in cab.

Seat belts and Helmet must be used while pulling.
