The Miss Gallia County Pageant was founded in 1955. Carolyn Arnold of Gallia Academy High School was crowned queen of the first pageant.
This year’s pageant directors are Rochelle Halley, principal of River Valley High School; Bryna Butler from Ohio Valley Bank; and Bethany Covey, director of curriculum and instruction for the Gallipolis City School District.
