In 1965 the fair board acquired seventeen additional acres for the development of a camping area. This serene and quiet campsite at the rear of the fairgrounds registered travelers and campers who in 1979 registered from 35 states.
There will be a special meeting of the Gallia County Agricultural Society to review and accept or reject the livestock building bid, on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 8PM at the Ag Center.
The Gallia County Junior Fair provides every county youth with an opportunity to exhibit his or her talents and be recognized. It is the culmination of a year of hard work by the youths and their adult leaders; an exhibition of cooperation and constant effort on the part of both county and city residents; and is the goal and the end result of the Gallia County Agricultural Society.
