There will be a special meeting of the Gallia County Agricultural Society to review and accept or reject the livestock building bid, on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 8PM at the Ag Center.

In 1967, a roof was constructed over the fifty by fifty stage. Also in 1967 the Junior Fair was expanded into a five day fair for the first time with the addition of Tuesday night, a night with emphasis on religion and spiritual needs of the community.

The Gallia County Junior Fair provides every county youth with an opportunity to exhibit his or her talents and be recognized. It is the culmination of a year of hard work by the youths and their adult leaders; an exhibition of cooperation and constant effort on the part of both county and city residents; and is the goal and the end result of the Gallia County Agricultural Society.
